When I discuss my art with new friends, I’m always sure to mention how therapeutic the process of creating art has been in my life. I deeply believe that without it, I simply wouldn’t have become the person I am today.

I’m always thrilled to hear that my art has a calming, energizing, or spiritual effect on those who view it, because I feel those same things when I create it! I’m already passionate about creating contemporary, mixed-media paintings, but getting positive feedback and seeing my art displayed in the spaces of those who visit my gallery, purchase my art, or commission a painting makes the time I spend creating art even more worthwhile.

My art has been collected by Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, Jackson South Hospital, Society of Vascular Interventional Neurology and private collectors. I’ve partnered with brands like Bombay Sapphire, Athleta, Sacred Space Miami, and West Elm. She’s been featured in Spirituality & Health and Self magazines.

Art Has Always Played an Important Role in My Life…

I’ve loved making art for as long as I can remember, so when I entered college, I knew that art would be my focus. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio sculpture from Georgia State University, then studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. Later, I earned a Master’s degree in Art Therapy at Florida State University, became a Board Certified Art Therapist, and have now been practicing for 16 years.

Time has flown by, but I have grown so much as an artist, and found a career that is truly fulfilling.

As an artist, my mission is to create mixed-media art pieces that embody high energy; bringing color, harmony, and beauty to wherever they are displayed. Finding the right piece of art for your home, office space, or studio can change the whole look of your space, and ultimately your mood.

I welcome you to explore my galleries or consider commissioning a piece of custom artwork crafted to suit your unique vision. I also offer online programs to assist you with your needs of expressing your authentic self.

I’m Still Amazed by the Power of Art Therapy.

Even therapists need therapy, and as an Art Therapist, I deeply believe that each piece of art I create is like a therapy session, giving me an outlet for whatever challenges I’m working through. I pursued art therapy because I knew what a significant impact it could make in the lives of those who are dealing with depression, PTSD, anxiety, and life’s many other challenges.

Creating art can be life-changing, and as a Board-Certified Art Therapist, I get the incredible opportunity to offer online therapy sessions that provide healing and transformation. I truly believe life is your masterpiece. You can learn more about my Art Therapy services here.
